Waterfall Catering's Journey

Welcome to Waterfall Catering! For over 17 years, we have been serving fresh, homemade breakfasts and lunches to hungry office workers in the Penn Center West office park. As word of our talented chef and fresh food spread, our business quickly grew, and we transitioned to catering-only in 2011.

 

We take special care in sourcing the freshest, seasonal ingredients, resulting in delicious, real food that our customers love. From small independent offices to large events with 1,000 guests, we deliver breakfasts and lunches all over Pittsburgh. Our corporate following is huge, and we are proud to offer our services to a wide range of clients.

 

After several years of growth, we are expanding again! Our catering portion will now be located at The Dakota, a premier office building in Coraopolis, offering us over 10,000 square feet to prepare all of your favorites. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, shower, retirement, or even a wedding, Waterfall Catering delivers delicious food that you and your guests will love.

I bring over 40 years of experience to Waterfall Catering. I started my culinary career by studying at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. I worked my way through some of the best private clubs around the city, learning techniques from the very best chefs in Pittsburgh. Notable employers on my list include The Pittsburgh Field Club, Cherrington Country Club, Montour Heights Country Club, Chartiers Country Club, and Highland Country Club.

 

After years of formal dining, I made the move to the corporate world and became the Executive Chef at Highmark’s Blue Cross corporate office at 5th Avenue Place downtown, serving close to 1,000 guests daily. I was the primary chef for the Dr. Dean Ornish program to reverse heart disease through diet and exercise. In 2006, I decided it was time to start my own adventure, and Waterfall Catering was born!

Hi there! My name is Renee and I bring with me many years of successful experience to Waterfall Catering. I have expertise in Sales and Marketing in the corporate market, including B2B sales, Pharmaceutical, Medical Wellness, and my personal favorite industry - Hospitality! My love for the food business started at Sysco Foods where I became a top performer, winning many awards, including Sysco’s Top Torchbearer Award. I also worked for Paragon Foods, specializing in local produce and specialty food sales.

Now, I have left my own sales career behind to become the primary front-of-house contact for Waterfall Catering. I will be the one to walk you through the ordering process and ensure that your experience is amazing. My goal is to make sure that Waterfall Catering delivers a delicious experience for you!
